Public Scoping Meetings
The Poplar Point project public scoping meeting was held on June 24, 2008 at Thurgood Marshall Academy near the project area. The scoping meeting discussed EIS impact areas and provided an opportunity for community members, officials, and concerned citizens to provide input as the efforts to proceed with the project continue.

Small Area Plan Meetings
The first Poplar Point small area planning meeting was held on June 29, 2008. The meeting discussed planning principles for the Poplar Point small area plan and included a roundtable discussions to collect input from community members on Poplar Point planning preferences and priorities.
